Creek County Literacy provides free confidential tutoring for adults and children.

Caring Grands Reading Program: The 1st or 2nd grade student and Caring Grand tutor for 30 minutes at same time each week at the student's school. The pair read a book, practice sight word flash cards and activities. All supplies are provided. There is a one-day training for volunteers in August each year, in addition to ongoing training throughout the school year. Volunteers commit to one school year at a time (August through May).

Youth & Adult Literacy Program: Volunteers help either youth or adult learners advance reading levels through one-on-one reading, writing, spelling and math instruction at least 1 hour weekly for a year. Tutors will receive training and all supplies are provided.
